Cache

A cache is a temporary storage used to store frequently accessed data so that it can be retrieved quickly. Caching technology is used on websites to optimise performance and improve the user experience. It can be used as part of website promotion or SEO service, as caching helps to improve website performance by allowing content to be retrieved faster. When a user visits a website, certain elements, such as images, CSS files, JavaScript, and HTML documents, are stored in their browser’s Cache. The next time the user visits the same website, the browser checks the Cache to see if it has a copy of these elements. If a link is found, the browser can retrieve it from the Cache instead of downloading it from the web server again. This reduces the amount of data that needs to be transferred and speeds up the website loading process for the user.
