Canonicalization

Canonicalization is a method used in SEO to solve duplicate website content issues. When multiple URLs have similar or identical content, it can be difficult for search engines to determine which one to rank. Canonical tags have been used to indicate preferred or canonical versions of a page, helping search engines understand which URL to index and display in search results by consolidating ranking signals for that content. This helps prevent duplicate content issues and provides more accurate search engine rankings.
